Trading Fees
OKX Fee Tier Introduction
OKX distinguishes between regular users and professional users based on trading volume. Regular users are divided into different tiers based on their OKB holdings, while professional users are divided into different tiers based on trading volume. Different tiers determine the trading fee rate for the next day. When calculating fee tiers, if any one of spot trading volume, futures contract trading volume, perpetual contract trading volume, or options contract trading volume meets the criteria, you can enjoy the fee discount for that tier. For example, if the spot trading volume in the last 30 days is $20,000,000 (meets VIP 2), the futures contract trading volume in the last 30 days is $200,000,000 (meets VIP 3), and the options contract trading volume in the last 30 days is $5,000,000 (meets VIP 1), then the fee tier would be VIP 3, and spot trading, futures contract trading, perpetual contract trading, and options trading can all enjoy VIP 3 discount terms.
How to Improve Fee Tier
For regular users, you can improve your fee tier by increasing your OKB holdings. Holding at least 500 OKB allows you to enjoy LV2 tier fees, while holding at least 2,000 OKB allows you to enjoy LV5 tier fees. For professional users, you can improve your fee tier by increasing trading volume.

Since limit orders and market orders have opposite effects on market liquidity, most trading platforms set different fee rate standards for limit order and market order trading. Margin Ratio
What is the margin ratio? The margin ratio is an important indicator for measuring account risk status, widely used in margin, options, perpetual contract, and other trading. It is used to determine whether an account can support current positions and help traders reduce liquidation risk. Funding Fee
To ensure that the price of perpetual contracts reflects market changes in the underlying asset, exchanges have established a funding fee mechanism. This mechanism facilitates periodic cash flow exchanges between long and short position holders, causing the price of perpetual contracts to converge toward the index price. When the funding rate is positive, long position holders pay funding fees to short position holders; conversely, when the funding rate is negative, short position holders pay funding fees to long position holders. Note that the platform only facilitates long and short positions

Slippage
Slippage generally refers to the deviation between the actual execution price and the preset execution price. This deviation usually moves in a direction unfavorable to the trader, resulting in additional losses for the trade. It mainly occurs in entry and stop-loss operations, and does not occur in exit operations after profit. When prices rise rapidly, investors hope to enter the market in time to follow the market direction and go long, causing many orders to crowd the long direction, while counterparties are reluctant to sell and will not easily go short or

Options Contracts
Simple Trading/Professional Trading Options are a right that can be exercised at a future time. After purchasing an option, if exercising the right at expiration is favorable to the buyer, the buyer will receive corresponding income through exercise, and the seller needs to cooperate with the buyer's exercise and make corresponding payments. If exercising the right at expiration is unfavorable to the buyer, the buyer can choose not to exercise, and the seller also does not need to cooperate with the exercise and make corresponding payments.
