Quick Overview of OKX Products and Features
OKX (www.okx.com) is one of the world's leading digital asset service platforms, primarily providing global users with spot and derivatives trading services for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other digital assets, while also exploring the worlds of DeFi, dApps, NFTs, and GameFi with users.
On OKX, you can enjoy smooth trading experiences including spot, contracts, and more. Stay updated on trending sector/concept token information in real-time, with various trading strategies for you to choose from. You can earn through financial services, borrow/lend, participate in Jumpstart events, and more. You can also fully participate in the hot NFT market in Web3. Additionally, if you're a new user, OKX Academy provides comprehensive learning tutorials and industry insights to help you stay current with the crypto industry and improve your trading skills.
Using the APP as an example, this guide introduces OKX's features and modules. Open the OKX App - [More] - [All Features], and you can see modules including Buy Crypto, Trading, Financial Services, Tools, Help, Rewards, and more after scrolling down. Switching the APP to [Web3 Wallet] shows options to create wallet, import wallet, and guest mode, including modules like Trading, NFT Market, dApps, and more. This course provides a basic introduction to these modules, helping you quickly understand and make the most of OKX.
I. Trading Desk
Log in to the OKX App and click [More] on the homepage to see entry points for various OKX features. Below we'll introduce them one by one.
1. Rewards
The Rewards Center includes: Invite Friends, Rewards Center, Send Red Packets, Node Program, Broker, and other sections.
(1) Invite Friends
Log in to the OKX App and click the [Invite Friends] card directly on the homepage, or click [More] - [Invite Friends]. You can choose from 4 ways to invite friends: share invitation poster, invite via face-to-face QR code scan, invite contacts from your address book, or share invitation link. When your friend receives the invitation and completes registration and trading according to the prompts, both you and your friend will receive corresponding rewards.
(2) Rewards Center
Complete experience with demo account, earn wealth management, complete one trade, and you can claim 300 sats Bitcoin; or through daily check-in, guess Bitcoin price movements, demo account challenges, you can earn for free.
(3) Send Red Packets
You can create red packets and send digital assets to your friends. When your friend completes OKX registration and completes deposit, deposit, and trading tasks, you will receive a reward worth 100 yuan.
(4) Node Program
Log in to the OKX App, click [More] - [Node Program] on the homepage, and click [Invite Now] on the new page to save and share the poster with friends.
When your valid invitees reach 10 people, you can choose whether to upgrade to become an OKX Node. Becoming an OKX Node and promoting OKX allows you to enjoy up to 50% commission rebate. By inviting new users to register through links or recalling inactive users, you can receive trading fee commission from invitees, but will no longer receive invitation rewards. Additionally, OKX Nodes can configure helpers for themselves to assist in promoting invitation links, and a portion of the invitee's trading fee commission will also be distributed to helpers. For specific rules, click the [Node Program Rules] button in the top right corner of the page.
(5) Broker
OKX Brokerage provides top-tier market depth, flexible fee markups, and high commission splits. You can submit an application, and after approval, when you trade through your products on OKX, you'll receive high commission rebates.
2. Buy Crypto
Buy Crypto is your first step into the crypto market - buying digital assets with fiat currency. OKX offers multiple payment methods and local currencies for purchasing digital assets. You can choose from methods like Quick Buy/Sell, P2P Trading, or Exchange to purchase, with funds deposited to your account in just minutes. This content is covered in detail in the beginner course's "How to Conduct Basic Trading."
3. Trading
The Trading module includes basic trading (spot trading, margin trading), futures trading (delivery contracts, perpetual contracts, options), and more to meet different investors' trading needs. Detailed trading tutorials will be introduced in "How to Conduct Basic Trading," "How to Conduct Futures Trading," and "Common Trading Strategies." Before formal trading, you can also try demo trading operations in [Demo Trading] to accumulate trading experience.
Additionally, OKX website and APP provide detailed trading data, including spot data for 13 currencies such as BTC, ETH, LTC, DOT, futures data, options data, and arbitrage data for users' investment and trading reference. After logging in to the OKX App, click [Trade] at the bottom, click the icon in the top left corner on the trading page, click [Tools] - [Trading Big Data] to view. This content will be covered in detail in "How to Understand Trading Big Data."
4. Customer Service
On the [All Features] page, click [Customer Service] to enter the OKX Help Center. Here you can perform self-service operations such as password reset and account freezing, or consult smart/human customer service. The [FAQ] section contains common questions for various product businesses where you can find answers to questions you want to know. Share your ideas and findings in [Feedback & Bug Bounty]. You can [Join OKX Community] to find like-minded friends in the community. Additionally, you can view [API Documentation] updates and platform [Operational Status].
5. Financial Services
OKX's Financial Services section includes Earn (On-Chain Earn, Dual Investment, Savings, etc.), Borrow/Lend, Jumpstart, ETH2.0, DOT Slot Auction, and other products, providing users with more investment and wealth management options. When you have idle digital assets, you can choose suitable products to earn or participate in activities. This content will be covered in detail in "How to Participate in Financial Earn Business."
6. Help
The Help section contains [OKX Academy] and [Join Community].
(1) OKX Academy
Enter [OKX Academy] to access massive high-quality courses to help you quickly get started with trading and understand the latest industry developments. Through courses like Beginner Guide, Trading Advanced, Mastering DeFi, you can more quickly learn and master digital asset knowledge. The section has three major categories: Must-Read for Beginners, Trading Strategies, and Industry Trends, progressively improving your professional capabilities. Quickly build knowledge reserves through hot topics and blockchain dictionary. You can also view more detailed categorized documentation through [Help Center] below.
(2) Join Community
You can join [OKX Official Group] through this section, or official communities on social platforms like Telegram, Twitter, Facebook. Communicate strategies, blockchain knowledge, and industry trends with global digital asset investors, and get real-time online support from OKX customer service.
7. Tools
The Tools section includes Mining Pool and OKX Status.
(1) Mining Pool
A mining pool is a fully automated mining platform where miners contribute their computing power to mine together to create blocks, receive block rewards, and distribute profits based on the proportion of computing power contributed.
OKX Mining Pool has leading technology, using an original mining pool architecture that effectively prevents various attacks and maintains stable mining service operations. It uses settlement methods like PPS+ and FPPS, automatically settling and paying earnings daily with real-time public and transparent earnings data. Additionally, OKX Mining Pool is deployed with multiple nodes worldwide, maintaining stable global mining services 24/7.
(2) OKX Status
OKX Status is OKX's upgrade and maintenance release platform where you can get all upgrade and maintenance status and learn about the latest project progress.
II. Web3 Wallet
Web3 Wallet is a new model launched by OKX, aiming to provide users in the decentralized ecosystem with one-stop services including digital asset wallet, dApp entry, NFT world, and more, deeply participating in decentralized ecosystem construction.
You can switch to [Web3 Wallet] at the top of the OKX App homepage or in the top left corner of the OKX website.
Currently, Web3 Wallet has four main features: Assets Dashboard, Swap, NFT Market, and Discover dApps. After connecting your Web3 Wallet, you can smoothly experience all these features without switching applications, easily conducting trading. This content will be covered in "How to Make the Most of Web3 Wallet."
III. OKTC
OKTC is an open-source blockchain application public chain developed by OKX, aiming to build safe and efficient DeFi infrastructure and create a decentralized trading platform (DEX) with community-driven operations, transparent trading rules, and user-controlled assets.
On February 10, 2020, the OKTC testnet officially launched, and for the first time disclosed five major ecological directions for OKTC's future development: First, issue digital assets; Second, independently build decentralized exchanges; Third, launch DeFi applications; Fourth, run smart contracts to achieve self-operation in the blockchain era; Fifth, carry Bitcoin cross-chain and other digital asset expansion and connection functions.
OKT (OKTC Token) is the native token issued on the OKTC mainnet. Its value depends on the development prospects of the decentralized exchange and other DeFi applications that will be built on the network. OKT's genesis block will include an initial minting of 10 million OKT, which will be distributed to OKB holders. OKT's halving model is the same as Bitcoin's, with block rewards halving approximately every three years. The current block reward is 0.5 OKT, and OKT's theoretical total supply cap is approximately 41.96 million.
OKB is a global universal points issued by OK Blockchain Foundation, connecting OKX with every user. OKB is an absolutely deflationary token. Holding OKB allows you to enjoy over a dozen benefits on the OKX platform. Meanwhile, OKB also has rich ecosystem application scenarios among OKX's global partners. OKB's value is mainly supported by OKX platform's own performance and buyback and burn deflationary model, as well as trading expansion and ecosystem construction empowerment.
