One-Click Borrowing Feature Launch: Building Professional-Level Leverage Trading
To address user concerns about the abstract and difficult-to-understand concept of margin in leverage trading, and to make leverage trading simpler and more direct, OKX has specially launched the one-click borrowing feature, completely upgrading and optimizing leverage trading to provide users with the smoothest leverage trading experience in the industry.
I. Introduction to Leverage Trading
In traditional finance, margin refers to funds used as collateral to obtain loans for increasing holdings of certain assets. The difference between the total investment and the borrowed amount is called leverage. In the field of digital assets trading, leverage trading refers to traders borrowing cryptocurrency from exchanges like OKX and using the multiplier of their margin to amplify potential returns or losses from trading.
Other Common Terms:
- Collateral: Funds you pay yourself for the trading amount.
- Leverage multiplier: If your own funds account for 50% of the trading amount, the leverage multiplier is 2x.
- Transferred assets: Assets transferred from the funding account to the one-click borrowing account.
- Borrowed assets: Assets borrowed from OKX in the one-click borrowing account.
II. Introduction to One-Click Borrowing Feature
The one-click borrowing feature provides users with a simple and direct leverage trading tool.
In "Manual Mode," users can control the borrowing amount for each order independently, but need to perform borrowing operations separately before placing an order.
In "Auto Mode," users can be assisted in obtaining the required borrowing amount for each order. In this mode, borrowing and repayment only occur after the order is filled.
Here's an example using the quick margin feature. Suppose Bitcoin's current spot price is 20,000 USDT. You have two choices:
- Go long BTC - buy low, sell high
- Go short BTC - sell high, buy low
Suppose you believe Bitcoin prices will rise within a certain period and want to multiply potential profits. You can use the one-click borrowing feature to establish a long position in Bitcoin.
If you use 10,000 USDT as collateral and borrow 10,000 USDT to go long on Bitcoin, the trading leverage is 2x. This means that if Bitcoin rises by 10%, your position will generate a 20% (2x) profit. Conversely, if Bitcoin prices fall by 10%, losses will also double to 20%.
Conversely, when you believe Bitcoin prices will fall, you can also use this feature to establish a short position in Bitcoin.
In summary, with the one-click borrowing feature, you can use borrowed funds to trade with any strategy, maximizing the empowerment of crypto-to-crypto trading.

V. Strategy Trading Series Course - Savings
Preface: We often have this conjecture: there are many digital assets with significant increases in bull markets. If we can continuously capture coins with large increases, for example, catching a doubled digital asset every month, your assets will become 2 to the power of 12, i.e., 4096 times, after one year, which is very amazing. Of course, this is also almost impossible to achieve, because we can hardly continuously catch coins with large increases. This is also a problem many users encounter: in bull markets, although
